Fees for online EP consultation and reports
A single, transparent fee for each piece of online Educational Psychology involvement, including consultation, formulation and a written report, commissioned directly by schools and local authorities.
Standard online EP consultation and report
The fee is the same for all schools and local authorities and is charged only where online EP involvement is judged to be appropriate.
What is included
Review of school information, previous reports and relevant background documents.
Structured information gathering from school and parents, including secure upload of short video clips where appropriate.
Online consultation with school and/or parents to clarify key questions and context.
Pupil views gathered online where suitable, or represented using video, observation and contextual information.
Full EP report with analysis, psychological formulation and recommendations that can inform Section F of the EHCP.
What is not included
Tribunal reports or commissioned advocacy.
Direct private work commissioned by parents or carers.
Cases where sensory, communication or safeguarding needs mean a safe or meaningful online assessment cannot be carried out and a face‑to‑face assessment is essential. Most complex cases can still be accommodated online where high‑quality information is available.
Ongoing casework or regular reviews outside the commissioned consultation and report.
When no fee is charged
If, after initial information gathering, online EP involvement is judged not to be appropriate or safe for a particular pupil, the school or LA will be advised of this and no fee will be charged.
Where possible, schools will be signposted to suitable face-to-face alternatives instead.
